Flax Pond Marine Science Laboratory - Clam Hatchery Addition

Project Scope:
Phase I - Project includes a single story, 500 Square Foot addition to the existing facility along with a total renovation of an existing wetlab. Also included, is a complete overhaul to the building's pumping and seawater distribution system.

Phase II - Construction of seawater intake and discharge piping into Flax Pond to be connected to the seawater system from Phase I. Also included, is a floating dock system in the pond for access to seawater intakes.

     Construction - complete; commissioning in process

     Construction - estimated completion date - Fall 2023
